Rita Ora pays tribute to Liam Payne
Almost a month since Liam Payne’s untimely death, the wounds may still be fresh for some of us, including that of Rita Ora, the 2024 MTV EMAs host and friend of the former One Direction member.
“Liam Payne was one of the kindest people that I know. He had the biggest heart and was always the first person to offer help in any way that he could. He brought so much joy to every room he walked into, and he left such a mark on this world. So, let’s take a moment to remember our friend, Liam,” said Ora as she struggled to hold back tears during her speech.
Jimin and Lisa win big

K-pop’s 2024 MTV EMAs award haul did not end with BTS and Blackpink as Le Sserafim also bagged the Best Push award, beating out fellow nominees Chappell Roan and Laufey. But besides taking home a massive award, Le Sserafim was truly the night’s winner, thanks to an electrifying onstage performance and their wholesome interactions on the red carpet.
Taylor Swift dominates
