Bini being the first Filipino group to sell out a solo concert at the Philippine Arena is a win for P-pop

It’s no secret our team has had Bini’s catchy pop hits on repeat, and we, too, have been proud to see the girls rise from virality to selling out the Big Dome for three straight days, to taking on the country’s largest indoor stadium to date.

Last weekend, we got to see Bini kick off their Biniverse World Tour at the Philippine Arena with a sold-out show, and it’s all sorts of a visual and aural feast.

This concert was surely a milestone not just for the “Pantropiko” hitmakers, but for their fans and for Filipinos, too. Here are some of our favorite moments from the arena concert:

The opening!

In an electrifying opening number, the Nation’s Girl Group medleyed their top hits as they descended onto the Philippine Arena stage inside a gigantic flower (Grand Biniverse at Araneta Coliseum attendees would remember this!).

Plus, seeing Bloombilyas (Bini’s official lightstick) twinkling all across the 55,000-seat arena was so cute! (My only complaint is that it would’ve been better if their lightsticks weren’t controlled during the lightstick wave. It would’ve been more exciting to see the lightsticks literally wave throughout the arena!)

Blooms filling up the arena

It makes me feel so proud to hear the entire Philippine Arena scream for a Filipino girl group. The last time I was here was for Twice, and it was one of the best concerts I’ve ever enjoyed. So to witness that kind of love from Blooms was amazing! Especially when the girls came out on carts to get closer to the Blooms around the arena! 

Bini Maloi also talked about the experience, sharing how surreal it felt, having once been a fan at the VIP floor screaming for Twice, and now performing on that same stage.

New arrangements, new sides

I am so in love with the concert rendition of “Lagi” (full disclosure that it’s my current favorite Bini track-slash-new go-to karaoke song, but wow, that rearrangement was beautiful). 

And while we’ve loved Bini’s bubblegum pop, cute, and refreshing concepts, this Biniverse has shown us a new side. They’ve been hinting at it for a while—“If you want that spice, I can turn the heat up” (Cherry on Top); “Are you naughty or nice? Maybe add a little spice” (Blink Twice) — and boy did they turn it up! Those duo numbers?! Insane.

Special guest: Blooms!

Blooms dancing along with Bini in “Na Na Na” was the cutest thing ever. And the Blooms on stage all danced so well!

I’ve never seen a concert with an entire segment to thank sponsors and perform branded songs/jingles. Only Bini, I guess. Am I into it? Not really (I don’t think I’m alone in this, right?).

Manifestation finally coming true

If you’re looking for proof that vision boarding as a manifestation technique works, just look at Bini.

One of the most touching moments in the concert was when they shared how their manager’s phone wallpaper for the longest time was a photo of the girls, edited to be placed on a large arena stage filled with lights. They recreated the wallpaper, now with them really, finally, in the country’s largest arena, twinkling with their own fanbase’s lightsticks.

Full circle, manifestation granted moment right there!

Marking the milestone concert with more details on their 2025 activities

At Bini’s contract signing, among the group’s activities lined up this 2025 included the release of a new EP as well as an event called “Miniverse,” which they revealed at the concert is a special Biniverse event for kids. They will also be holding a competition where Blooms can submit their song compositions, which could potentially be the group’s next song.

At the concert, they also announced that the new EP, also entitled “Biniverse,” is set to drop on Feb. 27. The EP will feature previously released singles “Cherry on Top” (and its BiniMo remix), “Blink Twice” as well as new tracks “Zero Pressure,” “Secrets” featuring Eaj, and “Out of My Head.”
