One of the things SB19’s fans proudly talk about is how the group has really put in the work to get to where they are now.
But before reaching their current status, the group had been subject to challenges, especially after disputes over the ownership and use of their name from their previous management. Audiences are given a deeper look into the highs and lows the group experienced through the “Pagtatag” documentary.
The documentary is set to stream on Netflix starting July 23. Directed by Jed Regala, the documentary was first screened in cinemas in August 2024, becoming the highest grossing Filipino documentary at the time. It also had screenings in Hong Kong, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom. It also became part of the Osaka Asia Film Festival in Japan last February.
