What happens when visionaries come together? This week’s upcoming pop-up, Formed, manifests exactly that—gathering independent brands, makers, and artists together to celebrate the hands that bring a creative vision to life. More than just a pop-up, Formed is a space where local brands share their stories and craft—whether sculpted, stitched, carved, or constructed by hand.
What to expect at Formed
Among the lineup of brands are handcrafted pieces, such as works by artists from Art Toys PH, which started as a premier art toy collective and has now expanded to include contemporary art, music, fashion, and industrial design.
Wearable masterpieces
Formed is also set to feature artistry you can wear, with unique leather shoes from the “Where Form Meets Expression” collection—a collaboration between Alexie and Rô Wear that combines Alexie’s expressive details and Rô Wear’s refined silhouettes. Another is Bida Loca, a fashion accessories brand that blends craftsmanship and a sense of modern simplicity, with handmade beaded jewelry, leather sandals, slippers, and bags.

There are also garments or one-of-a-kind artwear that takes inspiration from the local environment in Idyllic Summers’ newest collection. Titled “Stripes and Stretch,” Idyllic Summers collaborates with the Baraclayan Weavers Association in Miagao, Iloilo, to use the traditional hand-woven textile called “hablon”—a name inspired by the country’s tropical climate.
Another featured fashion house is Le Ngok, with the designer’s pieces demonstrating how personal narrative, emotional tension, and artistic expression can be transformed into wearable form. Its latest collection, “Glitch Theory,” features exquisite patterns and lines.
Purpose-built gems
Formed has art for the home as well, with unique footstools that play around with shapes, alongside handpicked fabrics and rich trimmings. The Ottoman Collection, for example, dazzles with bold combinations of colors, prints, and textures—each one a maximalist’s dream.
The pop-up is also bringing in pioneers who designed solutions for the community, such as every woman’s “breastfriend,” Cheeks, which makes sticky bras built for the on-the-go woman.
