The Kings of P-pop SB19 just made their historic debut on the Lollapalooza stage, performing 10 songs for their hour-long set.
Opening their performance with a statement: “From the Philippines to the world”—the quintet opened the set with Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart-topper “DAM,” followed by viral hit “Gento.”
They also performed their newest track, “Lawless,” which just dropped midnight Philippine time.
The Lollapalooza crowd was also the first to hear SB19’s rendition of Francis M’s “Mga Kababayan,” which is part of the Dreamworks film “Forgotten Island.”
They also brought in some playful energy in their performance of “Dungka,” bringing in the Chicago Bulls’ official mascot, Benny the Bull to dance with them on stage. SB19 then closed off their set with crowd-favorite “Crimzone.”
In a post-performance interview, the group shared their hopes that this historic performance will continue to open doors for more Filipino artists. “This will not be the last for OPM,” they said.
They also shared their dream artist collab: fellow Filipino Bruno Mars.

After thanksgiving events with fans in early August, SB19 will then head to Japan for Summer Sonic. They will be performing in Osaka on Aug. 14, then in Tokyo on Aug. 15.
