A24 is at it again. After dabbling in the multiverse and making half-human, half-lamb children, its new horror will get a li’l raunchy, and well, real bloody.
Directed and written by “The House of the Devil’s” Ti West, the upcoming film “X” takes viewers to the late ’70s, where a film crew rolls up in middle-of-nowhere Texas to shoot an adult film, in hopes of landing in Hollywood’s big leagues. During their road trip, an elderly couple opens the doors to their farmhouse, but their interest in the crew soon turns violent once night falls.
The R-rated flick stars horror usual Mia Goth (“Suspiria,” “A Cure for Wellness”), Scott Mescudi (a.k.a. Kid Cudi), Brittany Snow, Jenna Ortega, Martin Henderson, Owen Campbell, and Stephen Ure. “X” is heading to theaters abroad on March 18, but you can peep the trailer below now.
