Bring the hotel dining experience to your home and help Makati Diamond Residences’ staff at the same time | Lifestyle.INQ

OCTOBER 27, 2022

Just like regular restaurants, hotel dining services are also taking a huge hit because of the pandemic. In the first half of 2020, hotel occupancy levels have dropped to 25 percent, which is significantly lower than the first half of last year’s 74 percent occupancy rate. As arrivals of tourists, which constitute a great number of hotel guests, continue to dwindle because of quarantine restrictions, the hotel industry—including its in-house restaurants—remains to struggle to stay afloat.

Among those feeling the pandemic’s burden is the Makati Diamond Residences’ signature restaurant. In order to help its kitchen staff, the hotel now offers an alternative to its in-house dining experience.

Through an initiative called Alfred at Cost, Makati Diamond Residences will sell affordable daily family meals for the next two months. Good for four to six persons, weekday meals will have a total of seven dishes available for P2,500 while weekend meals will have 10 dishes for P3,500.

These prices cover food cost and labor only to make it remain affordable. Orders can be made by contacting their social media accounts or calling 5317-0999 (local 1116) or 0917-6364875 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Customers must place their orders one day in advance as well.

Makati Diamond Residences has shared the menu for the week of Aug. 10 to 16 on Instagram already.

Payments for orders are accepted via BDO and UCPB bank deposits and cash on delivery only. Customers may opt to book GrabExpress or Lalamove for delivery (charges to be shouldered by the customer) or pick up their orders from Alfred at the Ground Floor, Makati Diamond Residences.
