MANILA, Philippines—Oakwood Premier Joy~Nostalg Center on September 16 held an intimate donation turnover ceremony with Asia Tatler Dining in support of the latter’s recently concluded Charity Week where the former’s signature restaurant, Oakroom, was one of the participants.
This year’s beneficiary for Asia Tatler Dining’s Charity Week is the Philippines Down Syndrome Association. Oakroom’s special Australian-inspired set lunch or dinner called Charlie’s menu was named after General Manager Rick Erdos’ son who has the condition.
“We are delighted on behalf of our extended family here at Oakwood Premier Joy~Nostalg Center to be involved in such a wonderful charity. Our son Charlie has Down Syndrome and we trust that our donation will benefit the association and the cause,” said Rick Erdos, general manager.
Asia Tatler Dinining’s Charity Week ran from August 16-24 and proceeds to the function will support the operations of the Down Syndrome Association of the Philippines.
