There was nothing random about these random acts of kindness. “Yolanda’s” storm surge and its destruction have resulted in an outpouring of love and compassion.

These stories were like rays of sunshine and bright pops of color in an otherwise bleak and heartbreaking week. We read them, liked them, passed them on, shared them with friends because, at a time when the Philippines is battered and devastated, people need to be inspired. People need to hope. People need to believe that together, we can rise from this disaster.

With permission from the authors, we decided to put these stories together (and updated some of them) in this special Super issue. Read them and pass them on. Because random acts of kindness rock and generosity is contagious.
