THE COUPLE
THE COUPLE

If something is meant to be, then all roads will, indeed, lead you to your destiny. Antonio Gonzalez and Patricia Ocampo first met in 2006, but both were in relationships.

PATRICIA and siblings Javi, Andrea and Nino

They met again in 2009, but didn’t get serious right away as Antonio was actually considering entering the priesthood! He actually left for a few months to enter the seminary in the US, where he figured out he wasn’t meant to be a priest. He returned to the Philippines, and that’s when their relationship really blossomed.

Early in the relationship, they both knew they wanted to be together, so they didn’t wait much longer. They were married on Jan. 3, at St. Benedict Church, Silang, Cavite.

Principal sponsors for the wedding were Jesserina Medina Soriano,  Agnes Itchon Barnard,  Jesus Antonio Saldaña Itchon,  Carmelo Maria Luza Bautista, Dr. Gary Lorenzo,  Randy  Roxas,  Stella Gemperle-Aguila and  Marivic Diaz Lim.

GROOM’S siblings and entourage

The groom’s parents are Chito and Nannie Gonzalez, and the bride’s parents and Larry and Roselen Ocampo

The bride’s gown, as well as the mothers’ gowns and those of the entourage, were a labor of love by the bride’s aunt Rosanna Ocampo.

The bride’s gown was vintage inspired, with intricate embroidery. The bride wanted the entourage to have an ethereal, romantic feel without being too sweet, so the gowns were done in subdued yet sophisticated shades of subtle nudes and blush.

The reception was at The Monochrome, Nuvali, Silang, Cavite. Food was by Margarita Fores Cibo di M.
