As the “-ber” months officially kick in, The Manila Hotel offers the following promotions:

 

For the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Mooncake Festival—the time of year when traditional harvests are celebrated and families are united—a special array of mooncakes is available at the Mabuhay Palace and the Grand Lobby until Sept. 27.

Mexican food fest at Diamond

 

DIAMOND Hotel Philippines celebrates Mexico's national day this month with La Comida Mexicana, a Mexican food festival in partnership with the Embassy of Mexico, ongoing until Sept. 20.

DUSIT Thani Manila recently opened its new all-day dining restaurant, The Pantry, which uses locally sourced fair trade goods and organic ingredients.

 

With multi-awarded chef Nicholas Issel at the helm, The Pantry offers house-smoked salmon, flat bread pizza, adobo pork belly, piri piri rotisserie chicken, BBQ lechon, Cubano sandwich, and hot Spanish churros with chocolate sauce, among others.
