Planning to watch the Miss Universe coronation night in Manila next year? Better prepare your pockets and wallets as early as now.

Tourism Secretary Wanda Tulfo-Teo on Monday said ticket-selling for the international beauty tilt in the Philippines in January 2017 will start on Dec. 20 through TicketNet.

Teo said VIP tickets will cost around $1,000 or P50,000, while those for general admission will be sold at around $160 or P8,000.

The Tourism chief said only 200 VIP tickets are available to the public as Miss Universe representatives will watch the pageant live in the Philippines.

The public can also avail of Miss Universe tour packages in Manila, Cebu, Davao, Palawan and other places, which are yet to be finalized.

The coronation night will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on Jan. 30, 2017. YG/JE/rga
