Amid the barrage of online assaults, Miss Universe Philippines 2016 Maxine Medina chose to remain silent, keeping her composure like a beauty queen should.
On Wednesday, she left a message for everyone, fans and bashers alike, on her Instagram page.
“Embrace your flaws and speak from your heart because if you do you’ll never get lost on the path that you choose. #missuniverse2016,” she said.
Her post was lauded by netizens.
