Popular sneakers label Skechers Kids Philippines showcased its fashionable and lightweight collection of kicks for kids at SmartKids Asia Philippines (SKAP) 2017 recently held at the SMX Convention Center.
The child models walked the runway with the Skechers Kids line of Sports, Skech-Air, S-Lights. Also featured were footwear designs Twinkle Toes, Mega Blades, and Z-Strap which girls and boys can wear during summer, weekends getaways, and for sports activities.
Pretty shoes for the girls
Skechers Kids Philippines encourages moms and dads to provide their kids with the best shoes which keep them looking stylish and comfortable. With memory foam insoles, kids have breathable shoes with superb cushioning.
For the girls, there is the Twinkle Breeze-Silly Me shoe designed with soft woven canvas in fun floral print. It has three glittery multicolored uppers and an on and off light switch.
Another footwear is Skechers Go Flex Walk-Ability dubbed as “the shoe that moves with you.” It has a knitted upper with articulated and segmented flexible sole design. A shoe for athletic walking, it has Skechers’ performance technology and materials and Goga Mat Technology insole with high-rebound cushioning.
Kids also go big and bright in sporty style and comfort with the Skechers S Lights: Litebeams shoe. It has an athletic mesh and glitter finish fabric and a midsole that lights up with every step.
Razzle dazzle meets bouncy comfort in the Skechers Skech-Air Ultra-Glam It Up shoe. This girly shoe combines silver and pastel green, pink, and violet. Made for comfort, the training sneakers come with a glittery leather fabric upper, an air cushion midsole, and a gel infused memory foam insole.
Cool kicks for the young boys
The boys go cool with the Skechers S Lights: Street Lightz-Magic Lightz 2 shoe. It is made with mesh fabric panels with perforation for the cooling effect. Adding to its special features are a leather and mesh fabric upper and the light color changing button.
The superhero style of Skechers Skech-Air-Turbo Shocks shoe is something to look out for. It has an athletic mesh fabric upper, gel infused memory foam insole, and two-color translucent air cushion sole. Stitching accents give a twist to its design.
Mixing edgy cool with spring-shock style, Skechers Mega Flex: Mega Blade 2.0-Chrome Z shoe comes with details that are meant to provide comfort and turn heads. It has metallic blade shock absorbers, shiny patent leather, synthetic, and mesh fabric upper in a zigzag strap. Stitching and overlay accents bind the whole design.
Light when worn but heavy in style, Skechers Equalizer 2.0-Instant Replay is a shoe that distinguishes from among the other sneakers. Its upper is made with smooth leather, synthetic, and mesh while its frame have air cooled memory foam insole and a dual-lite comfort outsole.
Kiddie programs
Aside from the fashion show, Skechers Kids Philippines also held dance workshops for the kids.
Lei Yadao, Senior Brand Marketing Associate of Skechers Philippines, says that apart from teaching basic street dance moves, the session helped kids develop self-discipline, focus, and creativity.
