Confession time: one of our favorite things to do in Hong Kong Disneyland is eat. And why not? There is plenty to enjoy at the park and at the resort’s three hotels.

The cutest dim sum ever

 

At Crystal Lotus in Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel, you can order the cutest dim sum ever—they come in the shape of your favorite Disney characters.

 

There’s Mickey’s Seafood Glutinous Pancake, Little Pigs Barbecue Pork Bun, Duffy & ShellieMay Steamed Sweet Bun, Little Green Men Pork and Vegetable Bun, Baymax Bun, Olaf Steamed Red Bean Bun, Order Disney Dim Sum 24 hours in advance on weekends and 48 hours in advance on weekdays.

Springtime Carnival Colorful lunch set

 

World of Color at Disney Explorers Lodge has created a special Springtime Carnival Colorful lunch set. All dishes come with impressive garnishing including fresh flower that you can eat.

 

Remember to end the meal with the Rose Strawberry Panna Cotta with seasonal fruits and mango sauce.

 

Springtime Afternoon Tea at Walt’s Cafe

 

Walt’s Cafe at Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel does a lovely tea on regular days, but their Springtime Afternoon Tea is especially delightful with touches of Disney magic. You will love the pumpkin chicken salad in Winnie the Pooh shape and crabmeat salad with wasabi mayonnaise on wafer flowers. The set also comes with ShellieMay and Duffy cupcakes which you definitely don’t want to miss.

Not to mention the drinks that came with the set which were yummy and so pretty you would want to take pictures of them.

 

We enjoyed exploring Walt’s Cafe too, looking at the photos, old letters and memos from Disney’s history hanging on the wall. It fed the Disney fan in us in a different way.

 

Disney Explorers Lodge exclusive dessert

 

Chart Room at Disney Explorers Lodge does delicious character desserts—the Mickey tiramisu is our favorite. The suitcase chocolate cake fits the exotic and adventurous theme of the hotel perfectly. Their savory offerings are worth a try, too. The Baked Pork Chop with Black Truffle Rice is hot and cheesy and a great comforting meal.

 

Best Lemon Chicken ever

 

Last year, a group of journalists returned from Hong Kong Disneyland Resort raving about a meal they had at Dragon Wind at Disney Explorers Lodge. They said the same thing: the lemon chicken there is the best they’ve ever had. Naturally, we had to try it. And we have to agree. Dragon Wind’s lemon chicken is breaded lightly, with its lemon glaze sauce perfectly tangy. Their duck is fantastic, too.

 

Their Hong Kong Style Milk Tea Pudding is a lovely way to end a meal at Dragon Wind—it’s perfect for milk tea lovers.

 

Dragon Wind is also a great spot for breakfast, too. You get to hang out with Mickey and Minnie in their snazzy explorer outfits and then eat all the Mickey waffles you want.

 

Snacking at the park

 

You don’t have to wait for breakfast to enjoy your Mickey waffles. You can get them at the park anytime too—just drop by the Main Street Market.

 

At the Market House Bakery, you can find Duffy and ShellieMay Sweetie Rings, StellaLou Purple Potato Mousse and character cookies during springtime.

 

Here’s a tip: check out the different snack bars and carts around the park. There are unique treats to be found in each land, like the churros you can only get from Jessie’s Snack Roundup in Toy Story Land. Or the Korean squid in Adventureland. (It’s so hard to walk through Adventureland without buying it—that smell is irresistible.)

 

Frozen lollipops in the shape of your favorite Disney characters (Mickey, Minnie, Lotso and Stitch), corn on the cob, cotton candy and caramel popcorn can be found all over the park.

 

Feel like eating an Iron Man Burger? Drop by the Starliner Diner in Tomorrowland.

 

The Main Street Corner Cafe Hosted by Coca-Cola® is the favorite of Annie Wharmby. “They do some very nice things. There’s a good cobb salad in there.”

 

And if you’re eating at the Main Street Corner Cafe, make sure you leave space for dessert (or at least a sweet drink). Their Duffy and Friends themed dessert and beverage menu looks mighty tasty. We loved ShellieMay’s Pink Banana Shake.

 

And always, there are magical details—ShellieMay and Duffy on top of your shakes, wafer butterfly atop a delicious panna cotta, hidden Mickeys everywhere, from your plate of pudding to the carrots in your Chinese dinner—that remind you that you’re not just eating anywhere, you’re eating in the Happiest Place on Earth.
