Now that this year’s beauty queens have been crowned, many of their fans are clamoring to know even more about the country’s gorgeous bets.

Besides finding out the usual “beauty queen” info about them, INQUIRER.net sat down with the ladies to find out their quirks, their go-to karaoke songs, and their favorite dance moves just to mix things up and see the lighter side of the usually poised queens.

See how Miss Universe Philippines 2018 Catriona Gray, Bb Pilipinas Intercontinental 2018 Karen Gallman, Bb Pilipinas Globe 2018 Michele Gumabao, and Bb Pilipinas Supranational 2018 Jehza Huelar answer and laugh their way through 19 fun questions that would surely give a glimpse into their personalities.

What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you?

Karen Gallman: I’m ambidextrous. I can write with left and my right hand.

Catriona Gray: Ako, I got a black belt in Taekwondo that I got when I was twelve.

Jehza Huelar: I think they would be surprised if I know Martial Arts.

Michele Gumabao: I think people will be surprised to know that I’m a beauty queen.

Best gift you’ve ever received?

Catriona: Mine is a trip for Germany for my birthday and that was in 2017. My first time in Europe, too, but it was in the dead of winter so I’d freeze my butt off.

Karen: Mine is a Tiffany necklace. That was, for me, one of the best gifts I’ve received.

Jehza: Oh, that’s [a] hard [question].

Michele: Love. (laughs)

Jehza: Time, effort.

What’s your favorite way of de-stressing?

Karen: Massage. Pampering myself, massages. Manicure, pedicure.

Catriona: Escaping to nature, whether it be the beach, or to the mountain, or just somewhere where it’s all green and blues, I’m happy.

Karen: Yeah, actually, same.

How about your celebrity peg?

Catriona: I love Emma Watson, I love Rachel McAdams.

Karen: I love Angelina Jolie and Mila Kunis!

Catriona: Ka-look-alike!

Karen: I think she’s gorgeous.

Jehza: Internationally, I love Cara Delevingne. In the Philippines, Kim Jones.

Michele: Yes! Kim Jones or Heart Evangelista. International, I like Blake Lively.

Best kilig moment?

Catriona to Karen: Oh, this is your whole relationship, girl!

Karen: When my boyfriend compliments me lang, or he would randomly say, “Oh you’re so beautiful.” Kinikilig ako every time he says that.

Catriona: I agree, it’s like the small things. It’s never really anything grand; the small acts that show that they’re thinking about you, or they go out of their way for you.

Favorite series on Netflix?

Catriona: I don’t have Netflix. (laughs) I love Suits, How To Get Away With Murder, Game of Thrones, CSI.

Karen: I do love CSI. I love Suits, Vikings, Dynasty, and The Crown. It’s really good.

Jehza: Nakakahiya sabihin… Sex and the City.

Michele: Oh that’s nice, that’s a classic. For me, at the moment, it’s Scandal and Designated Survivor.

Funniest/strangest thing you’ve read about yourself on the internet?

Karen: I don’t read.

Catriona: Me too. I remember I read something really weird and I can’t remember what it is now.

Karen: I don’t read but then I do get compliments like “Oh, you look like Kendall Jenner and Mila Kunis.” I think that is pretty cool. I love it.

What’s your favorite app?

Catriona: Spotify. I can’t be without music ever and I always used to buy off iTunes and then I just realized Spotify’s so much cheaper and accessible. So yeah, Spotify definitely, every single day.

Karen: Mine is Instagram. I love Instagram.

Jehza: Tumblr. Super fan ako ng mga photos. Finafollow ko ‘yung mga very inspirational quotes and inspirational people.

Michele: Anything to do with messaging. Because of my family, kalat-kalat na kami, so I have to keep in touch with them every day.

Style icon?

Karen: Queen Rania of Jordan. I love her and her style. She’s amazing. She’s beautiful, she’s got style, and she advocates for women’s rights and education. She’s someone I look up to.

Catriona: As a model, I kind of get my styling inspirations from runways, from publications, not particularly one thing. I like to grab from different things and kinda just try them on myself. And if I like it, I like it.

Your go-to karaoke song?

Karen: Aegis! Ako, laging Aegis. Halik! You missed out on the bus of the Binibini, kumakanta kami doon. May karaoke kami doon.

Catriona: Yeah, merong videoke doon.

Karen: But yeah, Aegis; usually Aegis ‘pag karaoke.

Catriona: Mine is “Don’t Know Why” by Norah Jones and “Breakeven” by The Script.

Michele: Zombie. (laughs) Any hugot song, any Tagalog hugot song is good. Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang.

Jehza: Same.

Favorite pizza topping?

Michele: Cheese! Mozzarella cheese. Lots and lots.

Jehza: Pwede ba mag-request ng Brie? Basta may Brie, kinakain ko.

The last photo you took on your phone was…

Jehza: A selfie.

Michele: Jehza took my photo, an OOTD.

One item in your closet that you wear the most?

Michele: Underwear.

Jehza: (laughs) Iniisip ko nga kung pwede bang sabihing “underwear.”

Michele: The magic bra.

Biggest splurge?

Michele: Oh my gosh. Shopping, in general. I really… I shop ‘til I drop.

Jehza: Kain, kain talaga.

Michele: Saan banda?

Jehza: Hindi siya halata, sorry, pero kain.

Favorite dance move?

Jehza: Macarena!

Michele: May sentimental value kasi. That’s the dance we danced as Binibini candidates. We danced that during our Habitat visit. Forty girls just bopping. (dances)

The movie that made you cry your eyes out was…

Michele: The Notebook. Over and over and over again.

Jehza: Titanic.

What’s your phobia?

Jehza: Stage presence, [being in front of the] public also. Pero parang nao-overcome ko naman na ‘yun.

Michele: Horror houses.  I do not go into horror houses. Anything to do with scary stuff, the dark, I’m out.

Jehza: Lahat ng mga kinakatakutan ako, tinatry ko rin. Icha-challenge ko ‘yung sarili ko.

Michele: Ako talaga no, no, no, no…

Jehza: Dati I was afraid of heights and then suddenly parang ‘di pala ako takot. Tapos ‘yung stage fright, dito sa Binibini, parang nahasa na rin ako.

What makes you laugh?

Jehza: Silly jokes.

Michele: Yeah, mainly comedians. I love stand-up comedy.

Strong eye makeup look or strong lip makeup?

Jehza: Eyes. Kahit walang lipstick, okay na.

Michele: Yeah, for me, eyes too.
