It’s Christmas season, and we hope you—and your wallet—are ready because Starbucks Philippines just introduced the much awaited 2019 planners, along with seasonal food and drinks and merchandise at a “Christmas village” in the Music Hall of SM Mall of Asia.
Super lists our top seven favorites from the coffee brand’s holiday offerings.
- Travel Organizer
This nifty leatherette folio can be the key in keeping your schedule organized in 2019. The zip-around case comes in Sienna and Dark Teal, a crowd favorite. The pockets on the inside cover can fit a passport or phone, plus three cards; the two garter holders can keep earphones or pens.
The Travel Organizer includes a mini notebook with three kinds of pages—grid, dotted grid and plain—making it ideal for bullet journaling, plus 2019 Beverage Vouchers.
- Espresso and Milk planners
The 2019 incarnation of the traditional planner features coffee-inspired canvas covers. Positive words such as “genuine, inspiration, soulful,” along with an affirmative “Your Year” reminder are done in metallic gold and copper stamping on the cover.
These kitschy planners are available in two colors: Espresso, which comes with a mustard pouch, and Milk in a mint case. The pages feature faint grids and colorful dividers. Tear-off Beverage Vouchers are printed on the back for use throughout the year (different from the Travel Organizer).
To redeem a planner or organizer, fill out a promo card with 18 stickers by buying a combination of drinks from the holiday and regular beverage menu. One may also collect e-stickers on the Starbucks Philippines app.
- Snowy Cranberry White Mocha and Cranberry Pistachio Turkey Flatbread
Cranberry is an anchor flavor of the new holiday drink with an espresso base topped with steamed milk, white chocolate sauce and whipped cream. The cranberry sugar sprinkles give it a festive touch. It is available in hot, iced and blended formats.
Cranberry also provides a sweet contrast to the flat breads’ savory toppings made up of chicken, turkey sausage, spinach and cheese.
- Almond Matcha Doughnut
Matcha lovers would enjoy this doughnut with white chocolate-matcha glaze and almond slivers. Those who prefer chocolate can instead have the Choco Peanut Butter Bun with crushed roasted peanuts, chocolate and peanut butter drizzle.
For a quick snack, try the Baked Cheese Tart with cream cheese filling, or the rich and creamy Cereal Milk Pudding with cereal flake toppings.
- Filipino Bearistas
Bearistas are adorable Starbucks plushies dressed in different outfits (country or occasion specific). Limited-edition Bearistas in Barong Tagalog and baro’t saya will be sold for the first time starting Dec. 4.
- Philippines drinkware
Starbucks just released today the You Are Here collection—white Starbucks mug and tumbler with simple sampaguita design, along with the elegant 21st anniversary white mug with wood coaster which doubles as a cover.
- Snow globe and tin box
Check out the Christmas merch revolving around the theme of elves and rabbits: the snow globe on a red coffee cup, the reindeer tin can, stackable cups and thermos, and tote bag.
