How do you celebrate a victory over the undead in the great hall of Winterfell? Apparently, through some blip in the spacetime continuum and the TV editing mishap of the year, it’s through enjoying a cup of coffee from Starbucks.

Fans were on the edge of their seats after the latest episode of Game of Thrones, but the most perplexing detail of them all is the appearance of what seems to be a paper cup from the coffee franchise.

The great detectives of Twitter were quick to the screen recordings, screenshots, and memes to prove that this wasn’t a figment of the imagination. The markings on the cup are a little unclear. A faint outline of what is speculated to be Starbucks Siren with her long tendrils can be seen. It’s definitely a green logo. But the make of the cup serves as a dead give away as it doesn’t resemble any beverage vessel that makes sense in the GoT universe.

What sorcery is this? Did Emilia Clarke desperately need an espresso after a long shoot? Is it the handiwork of a crew member having a tough day? Is it a hint that the story will take a very wild, unexpected turn? Are our eyes all collectively playing tricks on us to herald the dawn of something new? Have we spent too much time in front of our screens?

How did an entire post-production crew miss out on this detail? Was it a particularly demanding day when they edited this episode so they didn’t catch this? Did the people behind GoT see the cup and simply declare: “To hell with it. We’ve messed up the fans this far. Nothing can faze them now”?

We also wonder how she takes her coffee. Does she request for an additional shot of hazelnut, or perhaps the blood of her enemies? Is there a super secret menu exclusive to the Mother of Dragons?
