The artistic legacy of Juvenal Sansó as an esteemed fabric designer is currently on exhibit at the “FDM X Sansó” show at the Fundacion Sansó Gallery in San Juan City, in collaboration with the Fashion Design and Merchandising (FDM) program of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde.
Though globally revered as a renowned painter, the artist was also a fabric designer whose prints have adorned the contemporary couture pieces of fashion giants, including the Balenciaga and Elsa Schiaparelli.
Fashion students have transformed the signature surrealist artworks into eye-catching pieces of wearable art.
“FDM X Sansó” is on view Monday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. until June 18, at Fundacion Sansó, 32 V. Cruz St., Brgy. Sta. Lucia, San Juan City.
