The 1975 Are Sporting This Local Indie Streetwear Label

OCTOBER 27, 2022

For those of you 1975 fans, you all know that the band was here in Manila about a couple of weeks ago for In the Mix 2016. What you probably didn’t know was that they were also checking out some local streetwear brands–most prominently The Artisan, as drummer George Daniel posted on his Instagram account not so long ago.

@theartisanclothing I love this so much! Thanks we love you!

Both George and frontman Matty Healy did a quick photoshoot with the label during their stint in the country to launch The Artisan’s new made to order feature on their website for their customizable BDUs. Get to choose from a variety of captions, embroideries, and flower placements.

While you’re busy trying to decide how you want your jackets to look like, you can also check out the brand’s other pieces, which include comfy statement tees and band shirts.
