We rarely see K-pop stans and sneakerheads getting hyped about one thing. But with G-Dragon’s latest Nike collab, we might just see it happen.

For months, we’ve been seeing teasers for PEACEMINUSONE x Nike. That ended last Oct. 4 when we got an official preview on what they have in store for us. This leather-finish beauty is called the PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Air Force 1 “Para-Noise.” In this sneaker collab with G-Dragon’s label, we get to see the Big Bang leader’s love for hip-hop and the timeless style associated with the genre.

“Ever since I came across hip-hop as a kid, AF1 has had a meaning greater than just shoes,” says G-DRAGON. “I couldn’t afford them, so I would always pass the Nike store and admire them with my eyes and heart only. For those who loved hip-hop culture, oversized clothes, hats, and matching-colored AF1s was the uniform.”

Don’t get fooled with this pair of kicks. On the contrary, G-Dragon’s latest sneaker collab is quite sentimental. The lowcut AF1 has a premium leather upper layered with a special black coating that wears off over time. After it wears off, it reveals a personal artwork created by G-Dragon himself. This hidden artwork is a reminder of the K-pop star’s optimism for art as a form of self-expression for young folks like us.

This limited edition AF1 also comes with the iconic white Swoosh branding, embroidered daisies, branded thick laces, and removable custom pins to boot.

We can expect G-Dragon’s PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Air Force 1 “Para-Noise” to hit global shelves by Nov. 23. But you better save up soon, it’s rumored to be priced at around $ 200.
