OCTOBER 27, 2022

Tagaytay for some has become a refuge away from the city. Just a few hours away by car from Manila, it’s chilly climate is favored by those who want to unwind. If the image of pines trees and fog has you planning a quick getaway for the weekend, here’s something worth doing there this month.

Tomato celery gazpacho, a classic Spanish chilled soup made with fresh tomatoes and the Salpicón de Marisco, a seafood medley made of crab stick, shrimps, peppers, and onion lemon-paprika can be sampled under the Tapas Frias menu.

While for the Tapas Calientes side, you can enjoy a variety of croquettes like jamón ibérico croquetas which are lightly breaded and stuffed with fried cured ham, and parmesan croquetas that are oozing with cheese.

There are also vegetable offerings like colifor grantinada con Almendras y Ajo, which is cauliflower with garlic and almonds, and seasonal marinated vegetables.

Specialty paella will be served as the main course which you can pair with wine from their wide selection of bottles.

And did we mention you could also get sangria by the glass or by the pitcher? You just need to add P250 or P700, respectively.
