Valentine’s Day is over 2,000 years old, but the tradition of giving flowers is fairly new. Back in the 1800s, members of the upper class were expected to behave in a proper (albeit exaggerated) way during the Victorian era. Falling in love was difficult because of restrictions in flirting and dating.
But people managed to outsmart the strict courtship structure by sending flowers as a nonverbal message to their love interests. Each flower had a specific meaning and it made it possible for people to communicate simply by using flowers.

Boxed flowers and preserved roses seem to be all the craze now so Fiora gave its own extra spin to it: teddy bear roses packaged in a transparent box. It also comes with one preserved Ecuadorian rose placed in a little box, which you can personalize with your loved one’s name or a short message. They deliver for free within Metro Manila but you can only place your order until Feb. 8 for deliveries on Feb. 11 to 15.
