LONER’s track ‘New To Me’ is an honest love note to our support system - SCOUT

OCTOBER 27, 2022

For emotionally constipated kids, love can be a hard thing to express. But if you need a booster, then Loner’s fresh new track might be of help.

Released today, Oct. 22, the single from Lean Ordinario—a.k.a. Loner—taps into our vulnerable side and acknowledges the confidantes who are ready to back you up. Co-written by Steffie Ziebert with breaks from Marty Carsi-Cruz, the Loner produced-track delivers strange feelings and changed perspectives that we, at some point, probably ruminated about, in between rhythmic beats and catchy tunes.

Lyrics like “Don’t feel like myself / I had to fake it until you changed it” drive the point of monotonous lives changed for the better by a loved one. Loner sums up “New To Me’s” charm in his Instagram caption: “[It’s] a song about people who see the best in you.”
