The Ayala Center Cebu expansion inaugural coincided with the 25th anniversary celebration of Cebu Holdings Inc. (CHI), developer of the mall. There was a blessing ceremony officiated by Cebu Archbishop Emeritus Ricardo Cardinal Vidal. He was assisted by the Cebu Cathedral’s Msgr. Roberto Alesna and Msgr. Achilles Dakay, media liaison officer of the Cebu Archdiocese.
Guess who came to dine at one of the city malls? Shoppers and diners were surprised to see President Aquino on Thursday night, checking out a restaurant, renowned for its eat-all-you-can dimsum buffet on a conveyor belt, at The Terraces of the Ayala Center Cebu.
The delegation of the European Union, in partnership with the Arts Council of Cebu, presented Cine Europa last Sept. 21-24 at the OnStage theater of Ayala Center Cebu. This was the 15th year the film festival had been brought to Cebu.
