No less than reigning Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach gave an advice to the candidates of Miss Universe Canada 2016.

The Filipino beauty titleholder, who was in Toronto two days ago, took to Instagram on Monday to share a photo of her with reigning Miss Canada Paola Nunez Valdez and the candidates of the national pageant there.

“Touchdown Canada! Finally in Toronto and it’s my first time here! Got the chance to meet some of the lovely girls competing for Miss Universe Canada 2016. Accompanied by their reigning Queen of course @paolanunezv,” Wurtzbach said in the caption.

Wurtzbach also shared her advice to the candidates, which she said she got from the mother of fellow Filipino beauty queen and former Miss World Megan Young.

“My advice: Be nice to everyone. You can never go wrong with kindness. Right, @meganbata? I got that from your mom,” she said.

Wurtzbach and Valdez also shared photos of their tour on social media, with the Canadian beauty queen saying she wished Pia could stay longer.

“It was so wonderful to have you in Toronto @missuniverse @piawurtzbach to support the #sickkidsfoundation and also to inspire so many young people with your story. Thank you for being so sweet and kind. I’m glad we got to reunite and spend some time together. I hope you enjoyed your first visit to Canada. Come back soon!” Valdez said in an Instagram post.

Wurtzbach is now back in New York. YG/RC
