Taal Vista Hotel launches photo contest

THE HOTEL’S facade at night

Taal Vista Hotel celebrates seven decades of existence with a photo contest called “Timeline: Spanning Generations of Memories.”

From Sept. 1 until Nov. 30, the public is invited to upload their photos depicting their fondest memories at Taal Vista Hotel on a Photo Contest app found in the Hotel’s Facebook Page (facebook.com/taalvistahotel). Each photo entry must be accompanied by a story explaining the relevance of the photo.

The grand prize winner will receive P30,000 worth of food, beverage and accommodations from Taal Vista Hotel, while the runner-up will receive P20,000-worth. The next five finalists will also receive P10,000 worth of F&B and accommodations each.

Winners will be contacted via phone call, e-mail, and registered mail. Announcements will also be made on the Taal Vista Hotel website and Facebook Page.

To join, visit the Taal Vista Facebook Page (facebook.com/taalvistahotel) and click on the Photo Contest app found just below the Page’s cover photo. The complete contest mechanics can be found in the Photo Contest Facebook app.

Criteria for judging are Story and Emotional Appeal, Connection to Taal Vista Hotel, Photo Quality and Composition, and number of Votes. To qualify for the first round of selection, a photo must have at least 50 votes so contestants are encouraged to invite their family and friends to vote for their photos.
