National Book Store, Castle Geek and Neutral Grounds join forces to bring you an unforgettable Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) celebration today. The event will be held at the 4th floor of National Book Store Quezon Avenue Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Entrance is free.
Each participant will get three free comic books. Those who want to add more titles to their collection can enjoy up to 70 percent off on selected graphic novels.
Other activities include Creator signings, toys and collectible displays, and talks from local comic book artists who have launched their own independent titles.
There will also be a raffle of a limited edition iPad 2 jampad with illustrations by the FCBD artists.
FCBD at Fully Booked
Comic Odyssey and Fully Booked will hold its FCBD celebration at Fully Booked Bonifacio High Street. Participants will also get three free comics of their own choice, a copy of their own locally published FCBD Komiks #3, and other goodies to celebrate the day.
The annual FCBD sale will also offer discounts on graphic novels, action figures, vintage comics and a P100-each back issue bin.
Those who can’t make it to Bonifacio High Street can also head to Comic Odyssey’s Galleria branch where back issues will be sold for P50 each.
The event starts at 10 a.m. and will last until the last free comic book is given away.
