Monopoly has been a favorite board game brand spanning many generations of players—old and new, rookies and experts, big-time collectors and casual board gamers.
We’ve seen many big brands and names release their own collaborative boards with Monopoly, but this time a Filipino spin is now available on the much-loved board game.
Solaire Resort & Casino has been leading the gaming industry and has become the market leader in introducing innovations and firsts in the industry. So what better way to make another mark but by collaborating with Monopoly?
Feast your eyes on the special limited edition Solaire Monopoly board game that comes in two versions—one that is reminiscent of the classic board game and the other adding a vintage and upscale look to bring a more luxurious feel while playing the game.
The first version is the classic Solaire Monopoly, which is a bespoke rendition of the classic Monopoly board. It is released through a promo for members or available for purchase at the Solaire Boutique until supplies last.
The second version is the Solaire Monopoly Deluxe edition. This version comes in faux leather and premium wood material, perfect for playing the game anywhere or even for just displaying at home or in the office. With only 50 boards produced for the deluxe edition, it is undeniably a collector’s item.
Of course, the collaborative design does not end there. Embracing a truly Filipino design, player tokens are customized and tricked out in gold finishing.
Included in the variety of new designs are the jeepney, tarsier, lechon, kalabaw, and other well-known figures that are distinctly Filipino.
It is also fitted with a drawer to properly store Monopoly money, cards, dice, and other tokens. This being the case, or so as puns go, the deluxe version will be a bit harder to cop.
It is only available via Daily Fortune Treasure promotions, which are made available only for Solaire Rewards members starting May 1.
Monopoly has been a well-known brand around the globe with its unique real estate board game. Designed to be played by two to eight players, the goal is to be the last person standing while opponents fall into bankruptcy.
The board game has stood the test of time with its realistic gameplay and with players facing daily economic and financial problems. Young players may also enjoy this to have a taste of the real world, and maybe learn a thing or two about rents, mortgages, and real property ownership.
