Kiefer Ravena,

“I put my schedule in my phone! It’s going to be a busy year for me, so I have to be organized. My favorite gadget is my iPhone 5. It’s also handy for me because I can bring it everywhere with me. I also try different apps, like Instagram and Twitter, whenever I have free time or when there’s something to look forward to.”

“When things get extremely hectic in schoo,l you really need a gadget that is reliable, fast, portable, light enough to carry around, and of course, stylish as well. Gadgets nowadays become your best friend in school; they have become our tools for make studying easier. It has come a necessity more than a want. ”

Rammy Bitong,

Dancer, De La Salle University

“Now that summer’s almost over, I’m going to have to assure myself that all my gadgets and equipment are ready for all the school work. I’m currently taking up Organization Communication, which involves a lot of awesome production classes. That was one of the main reasons why I chose this course in the first place. When we started having our major production classes, I knew that it was time to finally get my own DSLR camera. I knew that I’d be using it a lot; with a little help from my gadgets, I’m able to handle whatever my professors throw at me. ”

Victor Silayan

Actor, De La Salle University

“I use my Macbook pro to synchronize all my apple gadgets (iTouch, iPad and iPhone) which allows me to organize my school loads. I use my iPad as a substitute for my laptop for presentations and notes, iTouch for my to-do’s and calendar agendas, iPhone for calls and messages.”

Vern Enciso,

Blogger, De La Salle University

“Gadgets definitely make my life easier, both for school and work. For school, my course entails me to write at least a paper a day and my laptop makes my life easier. I also have group presentations to do and I love editing video projects, so the iMovie on my Macbook Pro helps me achieve the result I want. I use my iPad to take down notes since my laptop is too heavy to bring to work. Since I’m always on the go, I need my iPhone 5 all the time with me since it’s the most compact gadget I own, and blogging anywhere is possible. As funny as it may sound, part-timing as a fashion blogger allows me to be on Twitter and on Instagram all the time, so my iPhone makes all that possible.”

Jaz Reyes,

RX 93.1 DJ, Ateneo de Manila University

“For school, I need my laptop and tablet to take down notes and make a quick search on the web. It helped me a lot to organize my numerous notes and lecture recordings. I had so much notes and documents from my previous school year that I had to get myself a new external drive in order to keep all my photos, papers and even some of my favorite movies.

“Apart from all the corporate and school-related things it allows me to do, I’m slowly getting very attached to my iPhone because it allows me to get some peace and relaxation with fun recreational apps like Pinterest, Indie Shuffle and Candy Crush, wherein I can etake a breather from all the day-to-day stress.”

“For school, the most important gadget that I use is my laptop. I need it to type my notes, to download readings needed in class, to research, to create presentations, to communicate with my classmates online, to write papers, to do org work and to study for exams. I basically do everything on my laptop, and it’s handy because it’s portable, light and user-friendly. Without my laptop, it would be a real inconvenience to go to a computer lab just to do what I need to do. My laptop helps me get things done fast and just about anywhere.”
