What’s next for Dr. Martens | Lifestyle.INQ

OCTOBER 27, 2022

The opening of their Two Parkade store was great news for Dr. Martens fans. More space meant more shoes.  “Aside from the original 1460s,” said marketing and PR executive Niña Defensor, “we have a remodeled design of the 10-hole vintage 1490s from our Made In England line, Refined boots and shoes in different materials and patterns, and our Fredo cutout sandals which have been in demand.”

They even have Doc Martens in kids’ sizes now. And Niña promises that even more styles are coming in. “We will always have our originals and this season we have the awesome Reinvented collection, a reformation and mutation of our core original designs inspired by the authentic punk scene. The collection includes the original 1460 boot with black and metal studs.”

Another thing to be excited about is the upcoming Agyness Deyn collection, the model’s third collaboration with the brand. Niña said, “Unlike her loud and quirky designs from last season, her inspiration for this one is the quiet girl or the introvert with rock-and-roll posters in her room. It’s fascinating.” Pam Pastor
