Miss World Philippines 2011 will hold its Charity Gala Night on Sept. 13 at the Manila Hotel for the benefit of charitable causes that seek to uplift the lives of street children and underprivileged women and children.
Pageant organizers said they were taking inspiration from Miss World Limited’s advocacy, ‘‘Beauty with a Purpose,” and its core value, ‘‘Beauty in Giving.”
The gala night will include a silent auction of paintings, sculpture and other artwork donated by renowned artists such as National Artist Arturo Luz, Ramon Orlina, Daniel de la Cruz, L’arc en Ciel artists Connie Quirino, Miguel Buhay, Pilar Quiros, Ditas Dominguez, Margie Villonco, Stella Kim, Carla Kim, Elaine Herbosa, Mia Herbosa and Russian artist Gregory Pototsky. Tim Yap will host the program.
