The Varsitarian, the 85-year-old official student publication of the University of Santo Tomas, will be holding Inkblots 2013: Beat the Deadline, on Oct. 21-23 at the school’s Education Auditorium, St. Albertus Magnus (College of Education-Conservatory of Music) Bldg., España, Manila.
Inkblots, now on its 15th year, is the annual National Campus Journalism Fellowship where hundreds of students learn from the country’s most prestigious and respected journalists. It is organized and subsidized by The Varsitarian.
Keynote will be delivered today by National Artist for Literature F. Sionil Jose, a former editor in chief of the Varsitarian.
Speakers include Francis Ochoa (sports journalism); Willard Cheng (broadcast journalism); Aaron Favila (photojournalism); Manix and Jess Abrera (cartooning); Eros Atalia (Filipino journalism); and Lynette Villariba (layout).
Registration fee is P1,500. Slots are limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.
