The Wholesome Table recently announced that they will be temporarily suspending operations until “the world starts to normalize.” The organic food restaurant said that the last few months have greatly affected their operations just like the rest of the dining industry.
“We are hoping this is just a small roadblock, and we’ll be back soon to welcome you to our wholesome table,” reads the Instagram post.
The restaurant is grateful for the continued patronage despite the difficult situation and assures diners that they will find solutions to get back on their feet. Known for plant-based comfort food and other specialty dishes, The Wholesome Table plans to still keep in touch with customers via social media.
“We will not be silent,” they expressed.
The Wholesome Table’s branches are located in Bonifacio High Street, Alabang Town Center, Greenbelt 2, Salcedo Village, and Power Plant Mall.
Other restaurants and F&B establishments have had to face the inevitable fate of closing down. Shangri-La Finest Chinese Cuisine Restaurant and Sodam Restaurant as well as local bars Makati’s XX XX, Route 196, and Polilya are among those that had to permanently close.
On the other hand, some are utilizing the idea of temporarily ceasing operations to prevent further losses such as Thai restaurant People’s Palace and modern Filipino concept restaurant Half Saints.
