After celebrating two decades of setting the stage for emerging talent, Trumpets Playshop has lined up can’t-miss summer activities for old and new Playshoppers this 2014.

 

Enrollment is now open for kids, teens and adults who want to reload on their acting, singing, dancing, modeling and speaking chops.

 

Kids ages 4 to 12 will enjoy Playshop’s trademark Children’s Theater (CT) and Children’s Musical Theater (CMT) classes, where they will learn the fundamentals of musical theater through song, dance, improvisation and creative storytelling.

 

Teenagers who are looking to sharpen their performing techniques with new and old friends can try Playshop’s Musical Theater (MT) classes for Teens.

 

Kids and teens whose feet just can’t kick back and chill when it comes to tearing up the dance floor can groove their way into Playshop’s Streetdance classes, mentored by The Maneouvers.

 

Playshop’s CT, CMT, MT and Streetdance classes have produced world-class Filipino talents over the years, such as heartthrob Sam Concepcion and 29th Star Awards Best New Female Actress Tippy Dos Santos. There’s also 2013 Broadway World winner for Best Actor in a Musical Anton Posadas.

 

College students and busy professionals, meanwhile, can enjoy summer 2014 the Playshop way by joining Musical Theater for Adults, Modeling and Starpower classes.

 

There are also special classes on Public Speaking, Modeling and Starpower—the last an intensive vocal training course conducted by The CompanY for people of all ages who want to take their vocal performances to a whole different level.

 

Classes begin April 7 at The Podium, Global City and Alabang and other satellite venues.
