BRIDGES@COM Ideas and Strategies Agency was recently recognized as Agency of the Year during the Annual Unilever Crafts Award.
This awards program is based on nominated and winning campaigns mounted by an agency for Unilever brands.
The Agency of the Year is given to an agency that has exhibited strategic insights in crafting brands for life. Bridges@Com has been the agency of note for majority of Unilever brands for over a decade, with assigned brands such as Dove, Close Up, Rexona, Clear, Creamsilk, Sunsilk, Vaseline, Knorr, Breeze and Axe.
Bridges’ role as a lead agency encompasses a 360-degree approach to strategic positioning applied to key communication channels, including print, social media, events and activation, in alignment with agency partners.
For several years, Bridges has been involved in amplifying and magnifying Dove’s global Campaign for Real Beauty, as directed by brand management. Dove was awarded Brand of the Year.
Clear Shampoo also garnered two awards for Bridges. First was Social by Design Award. The Clear Dream Match campaign capitalized on the power of social media conversations to draw consumer participation and boost brand image.
The second award was External Recognition Award for Clear, given to Bridges for the most number of awards and recognition coming from external institutions.
The 14-year-old agency was founded by current partners Toni Villaraza Palenzuela (chair) and Annie Ringor (president) in 2000. Elvie Cifra is another working partner, handling the agency’s finance and administration. Heading account management are two managing directors, Nicole Jacinto and Franco Santos, ably assisted by the team of Javier Marcalain (director, overall strategy development), Alexei Villaraza (director, media content) and Bianca Fernandez (events manager), assisted by Angela Panlilio, Martha Gonzalez (media monitoring and analysis officer), and accounts manager Angelica Lim with account officers Patricia Espino, Celine Viray, Javi Lebron and Bea Guingona.
