Beauty titles, they say, are the stuff of destiny. Valerie Clacio Weigmann knows this very well. Less than three months since she was screened, walked runways, traveled around, and won for herself a crown and countless fans, Valerie has realized she’s just getting started.
As the reigning Miss World Philippines 2014, she holds the golden ticket to representing the country in the Miss World 2014 pageant in London. But among other responsibilities, hers is a bigger one. Through Musikaramay, her personal cause, she strives to use music for the uplifting of the lives of indigenous peoples, particularly the Aetas of Mayantoc town in Tarlac. With more than just the crown and title at stake, Val proudly wears her compassion on her sleeve—something the world can surely use now.
