Empire East pays tribute to mothers | Lifestyle.INQ

A MOTHER’S nurturing touch, comforting presence, and unconditional love are what makes her truly special.

For many families, she is regarded as a guiding light, a source of comfort, who could go by many names—Nay, Inay, Nanay, Mommy, Mama—all of which are representations of the many crucial roles she plays.

And in celebrating Mother’s Day today, Filipinos honor how a mother’s love can have the power to heal emotions and to help shape children to be the best they can be. It would thus be fitting to recognize and thank mothers for all the things that they have done, and for all the sacrifices they have to endure.

One in celebrating mothers across the country today is property developer Empire East Land Holdings, Inc., through its Mother’s Day-themed open house, which will be held on Sunday, May 10.

The open house, dubbed “There’s No Place Like Home. No One Like Mom!” is seen as a way for Empire East to pay tribute to all deserving moms, and the company’s way of giving back to all the mothers who have been instrumental in the success of every child.

“As a developer who continues to provide homes in the hopes of helping hardworking individuals get the best out of their hard-earned peso and realize their dream of actually owning a home, we have seen how instrumental a mother’s love and nurturing actually play a key role,” explained Empire East President and CEO Atty. Anthony Charlemagne Yu.

According to Yu, the open house tribute to mothers will be a whole day affair that will happen simultaneously in three different showrooms, namely the Empire East Showroom on 5th Level Megamall; Megaworld Central Properties Inc.’s Showroom, 2nd Level Gateway Mall; and Megaworld Central Properties Inc.’s Showroom on 2nd Level Alimall. Participating in this celebration are all Empire East projects including Kasara and Rochester in Pasig; Little Baguio Terraces in San Juan; Pioneer Woodlands in Mandaluyong; San Lorenzo Place in Makati; and Manhattan Garden City in Araneta Center.

“There will be welcome food and drinks for every client who enters our showrooms. And to make the event even more meaningful, there will be a ‘pick-a-prize’ where every mom will be allowed to pick a paper inside a bowl bearing either a ‘congratulations’ or a ‘Better luck next time’. Our prizes include gift certificates and gift packs which our most-loved mothers will surely enjoy,” Yu explained.

“Before each mom can pick a prize, she must first logon to her facebook account from a laptop nearby and LIKE our official facebook page www.facebook.com/empireeastofficial. Meanwhile, the best part of the celebration is the photo booth where moms with their families and children can pose in front of a poster holding up a thought bubble with a message they can customize,” he further explained.

“Hi! I’m ___, I love being a mom because __” is the phrase that’s written on the thought bubble that every child needs to fill out and complete. The official hashtag of the event is #mothersdayatempireeast.

Over the last two decades, Empire East was able to build landmark residential communities that have transformed the urban and suburban landscapes. It has also introduced over the past years new and innovative concepts such as township developments that seek to create a harmonious neighborhood, and to uplift the quality of living experience for its residents.

Currently, the property firm controlled by Filipino tycoon Andrew Tan specializes in the creation of residential communities for the middle-income market segment, and in the sale or lease of commercial and industrial spaces.ADVT
