Doug Kramer with Scarlet, Gavin and Kendra

I have been blessed with three amazing fathers—my papa Lito Francisco, dad-in-law Alex Prieto and husband Paolo Prieto. These three men have so much integrity and big hearts, it’s difficult to find them a gift for Father’s Day that would let them know their importance in my life.

But then again, since they have big hearts, they’ll always appreciate any gift.

Let’s hear other women talk about their respective husbands and why these fathers mean the world to their kids.

Liza on Sen. Bongbong Marcos

“Here’s a message from Sandro, Simon and Vincent to their dad (Sen. Bongbong Marcos):

“Happy Father’s Day to the coolest dad ever! Thank you for letting us see the world through your eyes. You rock, pops!”

For Father’s Day we will treat him to Mecha Uma.

Kai on Bryan Lim

“What makes Bryan a good father? No matter how busy he is, he will always find or make time to be with the kids. They are his top priority. He makes sure to bring them along, whenever he can, to the office, to play badminton or just about any activity. He brings them out every weekend—no mama and no yaya.

“What will I give Bryan for Father’s Day? Tough question… Perhaps a small camera for traveling. He loves taking photos of the kids. He has a big SLR camera, which takes fantastic photos but is just too big and bulky. A smaller camera is more suitable for traveling.”

Mikaela on Chucho Lagdameo

“Chucho is such a good dad because to him our family, especially our kids, come first. He always makes time for us; most importantly he is always our biggest cheerleader in everything. I can’t imagine having anybody else.

“For Father’s Day, what we want to do is cuddle in bed [and watch] a good DVD [while eating] popcorn, and maybe surprise him with something unusual, like his favorite moisturizer, hahaha!”

Audrey on Miguel Zubiri

“He makes the magic of childhood come alive with the way he goes all out during Halloween, birthdays, Christmas, weekends— just about every day. I love how he goes on regular dates with each of our children. Now he has started going on solo short trips with each child.

Kaye on Freddie Tiñga

“He is a wonderful example for our children, especially our two boys. He works hard, but he doesn’t allow it to get in the way of spending time with them.

“For Father’s Day we all agree that he would like the entire ‘Star Trek’ series in Blu-Ray, or a replica of the Starship Enterprise. Captain Kirk is his all-time favorite character.

“He never forgets to remind his children “to boldly go where no one has gone before.”

Jackie on Marco Antonio

“Marco’s thoughtfulness, guiding hand and, most importantly, unconditional love, makes him an amazing father to Devon and Natalia. We’d love to give him continued happiness and the best of health this Father’s Day and always.”

Karina on Raj Moreno

What makes Raj a great father is the quality time he spends with us. He really makes an effort to be with each child individually and the whole family as well.

“This year I got my husband bespoke cuff links engraved with his initials. The girls will give it to him along with a handmade card and lots of hugs and kisses, of course!”

Tootsy on Sen. Sonny Angara

Sonny is an awesome dad who literally makes our kids Manolo, Ines and Javier laugh out loud with his funny antics and affectionate bear hugs. Despite his hectic schedule he tries to squeeze in one-on-one bonding trips with our two older kids.

And even if he is a disciplinarian, I can say our kids feel the overflowing love from their Papa. Happy Father’s Day, honey bunny!”

Pauline on Raffy Juan

He’s hands on and makes it a point to spend time with the kids. He’s fun and patient and likes to analyze process. A golf-all-you-can weekend without batting an eyelash or making a face—with a massage after. And my mom’s mechado for dinner. And sans rival for dessert.”

Daughter Tamara on Tim Tayag

“Daddy Tim exemplifies hardworking on a different level. Aside from being a comedian, he runs two companies to provide for our family. He is selfless, has a kind heart  and always knows how to make us laugh. He is one of the greatest gifts in my life. I want to give him the gift of respect to honor all he’s done for us because he is such a good dad!”

Cheska on Doug Kramer

“Doug is such a hands-on dad. He is always consistent with his time, affection and service to his family. He loves what he does for us. His children love and him adore him.

“For Father’s Day I’m thinking of giving him a wallet.”
