Bit by Bit Company, in cooperation with Hero, Blueberry & West, presents this December the twin bill “Children’s Plays for Adults,” featuring back-to-back  acclaimed original Filipino plays—Eljay Deldoc’s “Si Maria Isabella at ang Guryon ng mga Tala” and Glenn Sevilla Mas’ “Games People Play”—both directed by Ed Lacson Jr.

Adapted by Deldoc from Dean Francis Alfar’s “Kite of Stars,” “Si Maria Isabella at ang Guryon ng mga Tala” has been described as “the crown jewel of the 2015 Virgin Labfest.” It tells the story of a young girl who, wanting to become a star in the sky, embarks on a 60-year quest to build a large kite to help fulfill her goal.

“Games People Play,” meanwhile, is a celebrated production by repeat Palanca winner Glenn Sevilla Mas, about three characters who try to understand why they are the way they are by revisiting their childhood, specifically the games they had played among themselves.

The twin bill runs for only eight shows, from December 12 to 20, with shows on Saturdays and Sundays at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. All performances will be at the Power Mac Center Spotlight, Circuit Makati.
