You can’t miss singer-actress Nikki Gil in a crowd with her megawatt smile and glowing caramel complexion. The 27-year-old beauty is even looking more radiant these days, thanks to her skincare secret that just became available in the Philippines—Nuxe.
“I first got introduced to Nuxe when Rustan’s Marketing Corp. sent me products to try months before they got me on board to be its brand ambassador,” said Gil. “I remember reading about Huile Prodigieuse from a magazine, so I was thrilled when I found out that the line was going to be available locally.”

My typical beauty routine is… simple. I make sure I start with clean, moisturized skin. And for this, I use Nuxe’s Creme Prodigieuse day cream. I brush on MAC studio powder in NC42 (perfect for morenas), Benefit’s Bella Bamba powder blush and NARS’ Laguna bronzer. For my brows, I use K-Palette’s 24-hour brow tint and Anastasia brow gel (which I get from Sephora). I finish off with Happy Skin’s lip lacquer in Strong & Sexy, and I’m out the door!
What attracts me to singing/acting is… the feeling of being able to live out different lives, explore a wide spectrum of emotions and snap out of it and come back home.
What keeps me motivated in my career is… the thought that… if I inspire at least one person in the audience or on social media to follow his/her dreams or make better choices, then the whole journey would have been worth it.
My approach to style and makeup has evolved from… heavy, smoky makeup and tight dresses to a more natural, minimalist look. I’ve always enjoyed classic looks, so I can’t really say my style has evolved drastically. I definitely turned the makeup down a notch, though!
A person who has shaped the way I see beauty is… my mom, because I trust her taste more than anyone’s.
My skin feels best when… I wake up in the morning. It is fully rested and has already absorbed all the good stuff from the products I applied the night before.

Products that are staples in my bathroom are… Cetaphil cleansing lotion, Nuxe’s Rose Petal melting makeup remover, Nuxe Body Melting Scrub and Body Cream, Herbal Essences Shampoo and Conditioner in Orchid and Coconut Milk, L’Oréal Gentle Eye and Lip Makeup Remover.
I have an obsession with… products that can highlight my skin tone like bronzers, oils, self-tanning lotions, etc. A few of my favorites are One Night Tan from Model & Co. The one Nuxe product I carry with me everywhere is… The Rêve de Miel moisturizing lip balm. I don’t think I can ever live without it now!
When it comes to personal maintenance, I’m very picky about… skincare products, or anything that can affect my face (vitamin supplements and shampoo included). Because I am acne-prone and have really sensitive skin, I am very careful with what I put on my face. I usually give products a week before I start seeing a positive or negative reaction. I prefer mild, plant-based products, from cleanser and makeup remover to toner.
