After being robbed of her shining moment during the Miss Universe coronation night last December, Pia Wurtzbach finally had her long-deserved walk as Miss Universe 2015.

Wurtzbach did the famous Miss Universe walk sans a floor-length gown and her fellow Miss Universe contestants on the television show “Live With Kelly and Michael.”

Host Kelly Ripa asked Wurtzbach: “Pia, you never had the chance to do your walk. You know, the famous walk. Do you want to do your walk for us now?”

Wurtzbach obliged and host Michael Strahan announced: “Everybody, please welcome Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach from the Philippines!”

The Filipina beauty queen walked on set with her Karen Millen dress and pumps.

During the interview, Wurtzbach recalled the events which transpired after host Steve Harvey botched the announcement of the winner.

“I was just thinking to myself, ‘Okay, I made it this far, I’m pretty sure I made my country proud, and that’s good enough for me.’ I know I did everything I could, I know I did very well,” she said.

She even had a “good cry” after being reassured by her manager that she is the rightful winner.

Wurtzbach also shared her experience in celebrating New Year’s Eve in New York City where she witnessed the ball drop at Times Square.
