She went on a vacation to Boracay and found not only paradise but a “Buddy.”
In a Facebook post, German tourist Emmy Karnot disclosed how she adopted an “Aspin” or asong Pinoy during her visit to the Philippines.
Karnot named the Aspin “Buddy.”
“I love my Aspin “Buddy” so much that I stayed for him a few [months] longer in the Philippines to bring him home with me to Germany,” she said in a Facebook post on January 12.
“I adopted him [for] 6 weeks in Boracay,” she added.

She said the adoption process was “complicated and expensive” but she persisted and didn’t lose hope.
“It was so complicated and expensive to get all the papers he [needs] for Germany–sometimes I was so close to [giving] up but with the help of my friends we arrived [happily] together 6 weeks ago in Germany,” she said.
“I couldn’t leave him [behind]–I love this little guy so much,” she added. NC
