Filipino netizens are getting excited with the possibility of Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach returning to the Philippines soon, weeks before the coronation night of Binibining Pilipinas 2016.

 

Wurtzbach, through the Miss Universe Facebook page, on Friday posted a photo of her wearing angel wings with the caption, “Flying to somewhere warm today. Let the guessing game begin again!”

 

Her fans were quick to comment and ask if she was on her way back to the Philippines, which sizzled at 35.4 degrees Celsius on Thursday.

 

The most liked comment by a user named Julia Smith read, “She’s flying back to the Philippines to turn over her crown as Miss Universe-Philippines.” Several others gave the same guess.

However, several others pointed out that the coronation night of Binibining Pilipinas is on April 17 and it would be too early for the beauty queen to travel back.

 

“So expect Pia to arrive a day before the pageant. Too early for her to go here in Manila,” another commenter said.

 

Another follower said Wurtzbach should have just announced her next trip to end the speculation.

 

“Flying to the city of angels?” a commenter named Mark Anthony Tantuan asked, referring to Los Angeles, which is relatively warmer than New York where Wurtzbach is now based.

 

The Filipina beauty queen recently made headlines again after Mikhail Varshavski, known as “Dr. Mike” on social media, confirmed that he is dating her. She later admitted she is dating her own “Mister Universe.” KS/IDL
