Which of the Ro-Ros will be blessed? | Lifestyle.INQ

OCTOBER 27, 2022

Your mantra for the week: “I blessed my mother, without her I wouldn’t be me.”

In the Aramaic version of the Lord’s Prayer, the different translations have referred to the Lord as “Our Father,” and yet when translated directly from Aramaic to English, it would be translated as “cosmic Birther.”

A cosmic Birther in today’s usage would imply that the Lord is really female, because it is the natural role of a woman to be the Birther. But at the time of Jesus of Nazareth, when women were considered an inferior gender, the different languages like Latin, Greek, German and English would never refer to the Lord as Our Mother.

However, in the Old Testament, the name of God is the “I Am,” the “I” being the male principle and the “Am,” its female aspect. So the first line, “O cosmic Birther of all radiance and vibration,” which was translated as “Our Father which art in heaven,” in IAMISM, would mean “O Father-Mother-God of all Energy,” because radiance and vibration are referred to by science at present as energy.

Today is Mother’s Day, and at the Temple, we not only celebrate all the mothers in the world, but also the female aspect or mother principle, which in psychology is called the Subconscious Mind.

The “I” is the father aspect or the Conscious Mind. When the conscious mind or the male principle, where our thoughts come from, impregnates (meaning that our thoughts have been felt) the subconscious mind or the female principle, it delivers—like a mother—our human experiences.

In effect, we are celebrating the Mother of all the mothers, which in the Catholic religion is symbolized by the Blessed Mother, which I repeat, for me, is the subconscious mind. Herein is the IAMIST version of the Hail Mary:

“Hail my Subconscious Mind

You are filled with God’s grace

Life expresses through you

You are the female aspect of the One Mind

Blessed is Man

The fruit of your womb

Oh receptive Mother of all creation

Deliver through us our worthy desires

Now at this moment of our readiness to receive.”

With this prayer, we celebrate the Subconscious Mind by thinking only positive, encouraging, uplifting and loving thoughts in order that It may deliver to us wonderful experiences of the same kind.

Happy Mother’s Day to all!

Let there be light and love all the days of your life.

Hitting the G-spot

If you haven’t yet bought a gift for your mother today, consider sending her a bouquet of Sinamay Abaca Roses that are crafted beautifully by Gina Lopez’s G Stuff, which, according to them, would hit her G-Spot. Wow, what flower can beat that? Even those who are not mothers would surely be delighted to receive them.

The indefatigable Gina, who is managing director of ABS-CBN Foundation and spearheads Bantay Bata 163 and Bantay Kalikasan, has now added another advocacy through G Stuff, which produces a wide range of wellness products, from sunblock to hydrating lotions, household items like room sprays and woven stool boxes, woven bags and clutches, and a large variety of healthy food products, from coffee with malunggay to healthy gourmet tuyo.

You will find these products at Alabang Town Center, Rockwell Power Plant and Trinoma, or call 4161828 for orders and more information.

The cycles and the elections

Tomorrow is Election Day, and in 48 hours, we would know who our future leaders will be. As I write this column, it is Duterte and Robredo leading the surveys, consistent with their cycles, like I wrote last April 18: “Thank God, Rep. Leni Robredo’s birthday is April 23rd and, therefore, from then on, she will probably zoom to victory as vice president by virtue of her being on her first cycle, just like what happened to Mayor Duterte after his birthday on March 28th, as he is now leading the surveys.”

The cycle theory based on one’s yearly biorhythm is not infallible. However, it has been shown that it is a distinct advantage to be in an ascending flow, which can only be reversed by a dramatic event or happening, such as, in this case, proving that Davao Mayor Rodrigo Duterte has P2.4 billion undeclared wealth in his SALN.

The big question today is, what are the chances of Secretary Mar Roxas winning as president, completely ignoring the candidacy of Sen. Grace Poe, who statistically tied with him in some surveys? The reason perhaps is the Liberal Party, which reputedly has the finest political machinery with all its accompanying advantages, claims that the silent majority has not yet spoken. So, too, claims a representative of Pulse Asia, that half of the registered voters have yet to decide who to vote for.

If so, it is only on May 9 that we would really find out the people’s choice. Is it really going to be a Ro-Ro (Roxas-Robredo) victory, or a variation, that is, Rodrigo (Duterte)-Robredo?

Let us all now pray for honest and clean elections and prove to ourselves and the world that we have an electorate that is not only sound in mind, but whose will cannot be thwarted with the three Gs—gold, guns and goons. Better yet, there are the other three Gs that Gina Lopez goes by: good for the individual, good for the community, good for the environment—and the country.

Gee, what a nice spot!
