Yesterday, social media was in a state of flurry with influencers posting photos of a very familiar-looking blue and yellow building in Cabuyao, Laguna. Various websites, including ours, picked it up and speculates like everyone else that it was finally going to be the home of IKEA in the Philippines. Of course, we welcomed it with open arms.
Then, Inanc Balci, CEO and co-founder of Lazada Philippines broke the news to the expectant IKEA fans.
Funny, because we were sure Lazada’s choice of colors were orange and teal. Ah well, the waiting game for IKEA in the Philippines resumes.
