Manila Diamond Hotel has set up the Playroom, an ideal area for children’s reading, games, arts and crafts, and creative exploration.

There are toys and games that can stir up kids’ interests. From playing with building blocks to solving puzzles, they can explore and learn how to sort, arrange and find solutions while having fun.

At the book corner and reading area, children can choose a selection of educational, colorful and entertaining books. Hands-on activities include coloring, crown making, clay modeling and face painting.

Children can look forward to pocket plays such as Royal Puppet and Shadow Theater, and musicals such as “Mermaid,” “Intergalactic” and “Royal Cotillion.”

Short workshops on acting, dancing and singing run by the friendly teachers of Make Believe Productions are available for hours’ worth of fun and learning.

A series of fascinating stories, such as “Angelina Ballerina,” “The Little Prince” and “Peter Pan,” are also lined up for weekly storytelling sessions.

The Playroom is open exclusively for children of dining and in-house guests on weekends, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., for kids up to 10 years old.

Admission fee is P300 per child for the first two hours, and P100 per hour for the succeeding hours.
