"Aswang"

They’re the last things you want to see on a dark and deserted road. But when To Be You artist Don Mikel Fumar draws Philippine mythological creatures, the likes of aswang, dwende, white lady and tikbalang look more stylized than spooky.

Using vector art and modern colors, Fumar gives these ghastly characters a current look, reminiscent of illustrations from children’s books.
