Netizens can’t stop talking about Raymond Gutierrez, the TV/events host and entrepreneur who went from flab to fab, dropping 65 pounds and gaining muscle mass.
When he posted a before-and-after photo on Instagram, it got close to 36,000 likes and more than 1,000 comments. His workout posts on IG—where he has a following of almost 500,000—garnered way over 100,000 views.
His fans witnessed on social media his amazing transformation. And now that he has trimmed down, he has become something that he never in his wildest dreams thought he could be—a “fitspiration.”
His fitness journey
No mean feat, especially for someone who admitted he couldn’t press the bar, do a push-up or do a dip on his first day
in the gym.
Gutierrez began his fitness journey December last year. He removed beef and pork from his diet and slowly weaned himself off carbs.
Everyone who has ever been on a diet knows it is sheer torture to be on one during the holidays, but Gutierrez persevered.
In January, he came up with the campaign “No Excuses,” a 90-day challenge with Century Tuna.
In his vlog on the Century Tuna webpage, Gutierrez said: “Trying to be fit is like a full-time job. It’s always in my head.”—CONTRIBUTED
