A few weeks ago, To be You explored the food stalls in Container Turf, the latest culinary hotspot in BF Homes Parañaque. A visit wasn’t enough to satisfy our curiosity (and stomach), so we returned to check out the other vendors and their irresistible street food offerings. Here are three more standouts.
Pothead Pig
Go for your fix of Filipino comfort food like sisig with rice, crispy pata, crispy chicken skin, liempo and more. Eating with the gang? Order Pothead Sessions, a generous serving of fish balls, squid balls, crispy chicken skin, kikiam and chicharon bulaklak.
Noona’s Korean Street Food
A group of college friends were vacationing in Korea when they came up with the idea of opening a Korean food stall in Manila. The kimbap, a Korean seaweed rice roll, is served burrito style—a hearty mix of beef bulgogi, kimchi rice and vegetables wrapped in nori and tortilla.
You also can’t go wrong ordering odeng (Korean fish cake); shabu-shabu balls served in seaweed soup; and Gamja Hotdog, Korean-style corn dog covered in fries.
The Steak Joint
Meat lovers on a budget, rejoice: The Steak Joint serves your favorite cuts, from rib eye to porterhouse, at affordable prices and with an array of side dishes and sauces to choose from.
